Restaurants-Our first night we are at the Mexican restaurant. I wish I could remember her name but she was fantastic. Our last day there we had great service from a cocktail server.
The service was so slow we were very tempted to visit a local liquor store and bring in our own drinks, which is not allowed, we decided to follow the rules. One suggestion is for Choctaw look into hiring a professional bartender/consultant to organize their bar to allow for better flow and ultimately better service. The bar service at the swim up bar was extremely slow and disorganized. It seems the parents are in gambling and rely on the lifeguards to supervise their children. The rest of the pool was full of kids mostly in that 10-14 year old age range with little to no parent supervision.
The adult only area of the pool was by far our favorite. I sent pictures of the pool to friends from out of state and they were shocked to know it was in Oklahoma. The pool did not disappoint, it was perfect. We are not gamblers but chose the Choctaw for its pool, so I will review the pool first. We needed a short and affordable getaway where we could relax, this is exactly what we got.
